Game Objective

If you are designated the Liberation Faction your goal is:

A) Secure all Resistance HQ's and keep your HQ Secured to Liberate the theatre (Map)  

B) Secure all Theatre Entry Points to Contain Resistance Forces.

If you are designated the Resistance Faction your goal is:

A) Secure the Liberation HQ to Liberate the theatre and become the new Liberation Faction.

B) Secure all Theatre Entry Points to Cut-off Liberation forces.

 

The GAME

The player can choose to join either the AllianceFaction or the Coalition Faction when first entering the theatre.

 

Each Faction is designated a Theatre Status that reflects their control position in the theatre. The Factions Theatre designation determines its assigned Theatre Headquarters and default Entry Location's. There are 3 Theatre Designations used in the Occupation:

The Liberation:

The Liberation represents the controlling Faction in the theatre. They are assigned a single central Headquarters (HQ) and one or more established Access Points (Entry) at the initial startup of the theatre conflict. If all of the Resistance HQ's are  Occupied by the Liberation and the Liberation HQ remains secured the theatre becomes Liberated (2 Points) and the conflict resets with the Liberation remaining in control. If the Liberation establish control of all Entry Points they Contain (1 point) the theatre and remain the Liberation and the conflict resets.

The Resistance:

The Resistance represents the controlled Faction in the theatre. They are assigned multiple perimeter Headquarters (HQ) and one established Access Point (Entry) at the initial startup of the theatre conflict.  If the Liberation HQ is Occupied by the Resistance Faction the Liberation Faction is deposed of power and the theatre becomes Liberated (3 points). The Liberation is now designated as the Resistance and conflict resets. If the Resistance establish control of all Entry Points they Cut-Off (2 points) the theatre and remain the Resistance and the conflict resets.

The Civilians

The Civilians represents no control in the theatre. There are no assigned Headquarters (HQ) at the initial startup of the theatre conflict. Any Access Points (Entry) that are not established by a Faction are designated as Civilian at the initial startup of the theatre conflict. Entry Points that are designated as Civilian are accessible to both Factions. When a Faction establishes control of an Entry Point (Secured) that entry point will only be available to that Faction from now on. In order for the rival Faction to open that Entry Point they must now establish control for themselves effectively closing access to the other Faction. Upon resetting of the conflict all Entry Points are set back to their initially established control.

 

The designation of the Faction Status is randomly determined at the initial startup of a theatre.

 

The Theatre has 2 types of Faction Locations

 

HQ and Entry zones

HQ Headquarters:
is the Factions main source of control in the conflict theatre. Lose your HQ's and you surely lose the fight. 

 

Liberation HQ Description:

Usually centrally located in the theatre the Liberation HQ is the largest HQ and the most defensible. There is only one Central HQ in any theatre.

Resistance HQ Description:

Usually located near the perimeter of the theatre Resistance HQ's can be small to large and often dispersed through out the map. There is always more than one in theatre.


 

 

 

Theatre Entry Description:

Entry Zones are the controls points for theatre re-spawning. The actual spawn locations are near their corresponding Entry Zone but never in it. The re-spawn locations are always contained within a spawn zone that allows the re-spawned players to leave but never enter. This helps prevent spawn camping. The Entry Zone controls what faction can use this entry for reinforcing the theatre. In order for a faction to get exclusive access to an entry they must establish ownership by securing the zone.
